Yuva Maitri (meaning 'Friendship Among Youths') is an on-going innovative Project of Harish Sadani, Hon. Secretary, Men Against Violence & Abuse (MAVA), as a part of 'Health & Population Innovation' Fellowship received from Population Council, an international voluntary organization based in New York.

Ashutosh Gowariker supports MAVA's cause

Noted film-director Ashutosh Gowariker, who has supported MAVA by participating in the Dream Run at the Mumbai International Marathon in Jan. 2005, had recently interacted with youths from Navi Mumbai over the screening of his movie Swades. Nazia Khan from New Bombay Plus, Times of India reported on the lively discussion that followed.
